The Dollars and Sense

We look forward to welcoming family and friends to Chez 'Roo. 

However, you know what they say about house guests and fish, so we have made it easy by establishing our "dollars and sense" protocol. This simple little protocol will mean our guests can enjoy a pleasant stay without experiencing that awkward question of what they should contribute to the household during their stay. It's also no secret that running an old (second) house is not cheap, and taking us out for dinner is not always simple for someone who loves to cook for friends.

Guests will be asked to "kick the can" to the tune of 15 Euro per head per night, plus share a food/grog kitty. This will help us to cover the cost of things like laundering and cleaning, and will also go towards water, power heating  and taxes.

HOWEVER, we can negotiate this contribution if you have "tradeable" skills that we can use to our advantage during your stay.
